What does it do?

This can be used for instance for:

• date triggered messages: sent every day to the contacts in your selected database that their contract will be automatically renewed in 10 days;

• welcome messages: sent every week to all new subscribers in your database

How does it work?

Prepare the email and the landing pages you want to include in the recurrent campaign.

Click the  button at the right side of the screen.

Choose the emails and/or landing pages you want to include in this recurrent campaign and fill in every field as you do for other campaigns.

On the To page, select the contact group that should receive the recurrent mailings (You can also select All contacts).

On the When page, define the period of sending first (Start and End time). If you do not fill in any start or end time, the recurrent scenario will start running now and will never end.

Then you create the recurrency settings. You define when exactly the recurrent mailing should be sent out and to whom.

• In the When field, you define if the scenario should run every day/week/month/etc.
• The Rule field defines the scenario: birthday, newcomer

Once you have setup your rule you'll need to test and launch the campaign.

Let's give some example

• How do I define a birthday reccurency rule.

1. In the first dropdown you need to select the option : Based on a contact date field ( yearly ). The yearly stands for the repeating process each year.

2. In the second dropdown section you need to define on which field and what kind of date format is going to be used to trigger the campaign

3. In the when section you define when the campaign needs to be send based upon the selected date field. We have elaborated this with the day(s) before or day(s) after option. If you want to use the exact date, select 0 day(s) before at

• How do I define a rule to send a welcome message to each newcomer inside a contacts group.

1. To send out a campaign to each NEW contact inside a contact group, you need to select this rule inside the first dropdown.

2. In the second dropdown you can select on which day this campaign will be triggered

• Send out a marketing campaign 18 years after a certain date field.

1.In the first dropdown, you need to select based on a contact date field (yearly). As this is a one time action.

2. In the second dropdown section you need to define on which field and what kind of date format is going to be used to trigger the campaign
